Welcome to the section which covers my interests. At some point I will write a little more about myself, but here's a quick intro. By day (and too often by night as well,) I am a systems consultant. I build and maintain Unix and NT servers. As you might imagine, I need something to take my mind off of work. I have always had an interest in things medieval, and by pure luck, I stumbled upon the SCA in 1996. I have been fortunate to have met several individuals who have fostered my interests and talents in the current middle ages.

While my interests are always vast and varied, I do spend the majority of my time working on particular things. My primary interest in the SCA is fighting. In the arts, my primary interest is illumination. I have been an illuminator now since sometime in 1999. Please note that the previous sentence says illuminator, not calligrapher. I can not write to save my life, and anyone who says that I have great calligraphy is talking about my wife. Most recently I have gained an interest in jewelry thanks to Mistress Breanaidh, and medieval clocks thanks to Robert MacPherson (better known in the SCA as Master Roberto De Milano.) I have also dabbled in making footwear as well as furniture making. As my interests expand and change, this site will reflect that.
